About Paramount Syntex

Paramount Syntex was incorporated in 1996 and makes synthetic fibres, yarns and textile products for the textile trade, becoming a public limited company in 2024. It runs two units totalling roughly 7,269 sq. yards at Village Mangarh on Machiwara Road near Kohara in Ludhiana, Punjab, with fibre processing, tow and hank dyeing, spinning, bulking and packing handled in house. Its range covers acrylic, polyester, nylon and wool yarns, blended yarns such as acrylic-wool and viscose-nylon, recycled acrylic fibre and tow, and acrylic and knitted cloth. Waste acrylic fibre is sourced both in India and imported.

Company Information

Strengths (from RHP)

  • Fibre processing, dyeing, spinning and packing are carried out in house, so the company controls most stages of production rather than relying on outside processors.
  • The product range spans several fibre types and blends, which spreads demand across more than one yarn category.
  • The management team has long operating experience in the Ludhiana textile cluster.

Key risks (from RHP)

  • Production is concentrated at a single site in Ludhiana, so any disruption there affects the whole business.
  • Revenue comes from one business segment, leaving the company exposed to the yarn cycle.
  • There is litigation outstanding against the company, disclosed in the offer document.
